Rev Comps is one of the UK’s biggest car competition sites, and our testing supports its headline claim: it is a legitimate operator with a fixed-odds format, published ticket totals on every draw, and one of the strongest Trustpilot profiles in the sector (4.8 from more than 9,400 reviews when we checked). It is no longer the family-run independent it started as, though — in July 2026 it was bought by Winvia Entertainment plc, the AIM-listed group that also owns BOTB and Click Competitions. What is Rev Comps?
Rev Comps launched in May 2019, founded by father-and-son duo Peter and Robbie Savage and run from Devon. It grew into one of the largest vehicle competition businesses in the UK — more than £80m in revenue in its last reported year — giving away cars, motorbikes, vans and cash. By its own count it has produced around 6,500 vehicle winners and three millionaires.
Ownership changed in 2026. On 3 July 2026 the business was acquired for £11.8m by Winvia Entertainment plc, which also owns BOTB and Click Competitions, and Rev Comps now runs on Winvia’s platform. The promoter named in the current terms is Rev Competitions Limited, a Gibraltar-incorporated company, with the contract governed by English law. Day to day the site looks and works much as it did, but marketing descriptions of Rev Comps as “family-run” now describe its history rather than its present.
How Rev Comps competitions work
Rev Comps uses a fixed-odds model: every competition states its maximum number of tickets up front, so you know your exact odds before you spend anything. Draws happen on the advertised date whether or not the competition sells out. Main draws are performed live on Facebook using a ball-spinning machine (with a random number generator as the stated backup), alongside automated draws during the week. Every paid ticket also enters you into free Monday and Thursday bonus draws worth at least £8,000 combined.

What the odds actually mean
Publishing ticket totals is the single biggest transparency win in this sector, and Rev Comps does it on every draw. It also lets you do the maths the marketing does not. Take the Bentley draw above: if all 69,999 tickets sell at £2.27, the promoter takes roughly £159,000 against a £65,000 cash alternative. That kind of margin is normal across the industry — it is how these businesses exist — but it is worth understanding before you buy a long strip of tickets. The smaller draws often represent better value: the KTM competition above offers 1 in 499 odds, a hundred times better than the flagship Porsche draw. The free entry route
Like all legal UK prize competitions, Rev Comps offers a free postal entry route, and its terms state free entries have the same chance of winning as paid ones. To use it, send an unenclosed postcard to: Rev Competitions Limited, PO Box 613, Torquay, TQ1 9NF. Include your account email, full name, address, date of birth, phone number and the name of the competition. The limits matter: one entry per postcard (multiple postcards stuffed into one envelope count as a single entry), and your card must arrive at least 24 hours before the draw — a tight window on fast-turnaround draws, so post early. Reputation: what winners and critics say
When we checked on 28 July 2026, Rev Comps held a 4.8 “Excellent” Trustpilot rating from 9,462 reviews, with 92% five-star and around 3% one-star — the strongest profile of the major car raffle sites we track. The consistent positives: cash prizes commonly paid within about 24 hours, cars delivered by Rev’s own drivers across the UK and Northern Ireland within days, and a well-liked team.
On the critical side, most one-star reviews are simply from entrants who did not win, which tells you little. Two things are worth knowing, though. In July 2026 a batch of bonus site credit expired early or disappeared from accounts — the company says it fixed this the same day. And the company’s public replies to critical reviews can be unusually robust; in at least one case it announced it was closing the reviewer’s account in its reply. Prizes get paid, but do not expect a soft touch if you complain publicly.
Prizes, cash alternatives and delivery
Cash alternatives are stated per competition in the listing itself (for example £100,000 instead of the Porsche). Note that the general terms contain no blanket right to a cash alternative — if the listing does not offer one, assume the prize is as described and non-transferable. Prize delivery covers the UK, Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands only, and prizes cannot be exported outside those territories.

Our verdict
Rev Comps earns its place near the top of our leaderboard. The fundamentals that matter — published odds, guaranteed draws, fast and verifiable payouts, a working free entry route — are all in place, and its reputation among actual winners is excellent. The 2026 Winvia takeover changes the character of the business more than the experience of using it, but we will be watching whether ticket pricing and draw structures shift under the new owner, and we will update this review if they do.
