7days Performance is one of the UK’s largest car competition operators — a Norfolk business that grew to nearly £100m in annual revenue on the back of cheap tickets, multiple live draw nights a week and a strong payout reputation. Founded in February 2018 by Ross Youngman and George Sapey and run from Norwich, 7days Performance Limited became the flagship of the SevenCanyon group (which also runs Redline Competitions), with group revenue of £98.3m in the year to March 2025. In July 2026, ZEAL Network SE — the German stock-listed lottery operator — agreed to acquire SevenCanyon for an initial £33.8m, and the founders stepped down from the board with ZEAL appointees taking over. How the competitions work
Tickets are cheap — typically pennies up to about £1, with main car draws often in the 20–50p range (a Land Rover Defender draw in July 2026 cost entrants 22p a ticket). Ticket numbers are allocated randomly, and winners are drawn live on Facebook and YouTube several nights a week, using Google’s random number generator for most draws and physical lottery ball machines for the biggest prizes, with automated draws for smaller ones. Reputation: what winners and critics say
When we checked on 28 July 2026, 7days Performance held a 4.5 “Excellent” Trustpilot rating from 5,363 reviews (89% five-star, 6% one-star), with the company replying to 90% of negative reviews. The standout positive is payout speed: winner after winner reports cash alternatives landing within 24 hours to four days, and good personal contact from the team.
The recent criticisms are worth knowing. In mid-July 2026 the YouTube streams for two draw nights were missing, prompting “was it really drawn live?” complaints — the company said the draws ran on Facebook amid technical issues. Several reviewers have also objected to marketing wording: app notifications like “You’ve been chosen!” that turn out to be free-entry prompts, and bonus offers whose conditions only appeared in the small print.
